    [١٤٠٠] (د س ق) الحسين بن عبد الرحمن أبو علي الجَرْجرائي (¬٣). روى عن: الوليد بن مسلم، وطلق بن غنام، وابن نمير، وخلف بن تميم، وغيرهم. وعنه: أبو داود، والنسائي، وابن ماجه، وأحمد بن علي الأبار، وجعفر الفريابي، والقاسم المطرز، ومحمد بن إسحاق السراج، وغيرهم. ذكره ابن حبان في الثقات، وقال: حدثنا عنه أهل واسط (¬٤). وقال غيره: مات سنة ثلاث وخمسين ومائتين (¬٥). قلت: وقال أبو حاتم: مجهول (¬٦)، فكأنه ما خبر أمره.
