[١١٧٥] (م د س) حَبيب الأعور المدنى، مَوْلَى عُرْوَة بن الزُّبَير. روى عنه، وعن: أمه أسْمَاء بنت أبي بكر وندبة مَوْلاة ميمونة. وعنه: الزُّهْريّ، وعَبْد الوَاحِد بن ميمون، مَوْلَى عُرْوَة، وأبو الأسود، يتيم عُرْوَة، وعبيد الله بن عُرْوَة، والصّحَّاك بن عثمان. قَالَ ابن سَعْد: "مَات قديما في آخر سلطان بني أُمَيَّة، وكَان قَلِيل الحَدِيث". روي له مسلم حديثًا وَاحِدًا: (أي العمل أفضل)؟ (¬١) (¬٢). قلت: وذَكَرهُ ابنُ حِبَّانَ في "الثَّقَات"، فقال (¬٣) يخطئ، قَالَ: "وإن لم يكن هُو ابن هند بن أسماء، فلا أدرى من هو" (¬٤).
