    [١٠٤٤] (ق) جودان غيرُ منسوب (¬٣). ويُقَال: ابن جودان (مد) سكن الكوفة. مختلف في صُحْبَته. روى عن: النَّبيّ ﷺ في "إثم مِمَّا اعتذر إليه" الحَدِيث. وليْسَ له سواه (¬٤). وعنه: العَبَّاس بن عبد الرحيم بن ميناء، والسَّائب بن مالك، والأشعث بن عَمْرٍو. قلت: قد أخرج (¬٥) له البارودي "حديثًا آخر في وفد عبد القيس".وقَال (¬١) ابن أبي حَاتِم عن أَبِيه: "مَجْهُول، ليست له صُحْبَة" (¬٢). وقَالَ ابن حبَّان في "الثِّقَات": "يُقَال: إِنَّ له صُحْبَة" (¬٣). وذكره غالب من صنف في "أسْمَاء الصَّحَابة" فيهم، ولم يحكوا خلافًا في صُحْبَته، لكن لما وقع عند أبي دَاوُد حَدِيثه، وفيه ابن جودان، ذكره في "المراسيل" (¬٤).
