    [٩٤٤] (س) جَبْر بن عَبِيدَة (¬٧) الشَّاعِر. روى عن: أبي هُرَيْرة: " (وعدنا رَسُول الله ﷺ غَزْوَةَ الهِنْدِ) الحَدِيث (¬٨). روى عنه: سيَّار أبو الحكم. وقَالَ بعضهم: "جُبير بن عبيدة".قلت: هَذا وقع في بعض النسخ من "كتاب الجهاد"، من "النَّسَائي" (¬١)، حكاه ابن عساكر. وذكره الجمهور بإسكَان الباء (¬٢). قَرَأت بخطِّ الذَّهَبي: "لا يعرف من ذا، والخبر منكر" (¬٣) انتهى. وذَكَرهُ ابنُ حِبَّانَ فِي "الثِّقَات" (¬٤).
