    [٩٣٠] (س) جَابِر بن يَزِيد بن رفاعة العِجْلِي، ويُقَال: الأزدي الموصلي، أصله من الكوفة. روى عن مجاهد، والشَّعبيّ، ويَزِيد بن أبي سليمان، ونعيم بن أبي هند، وَغَيْرِهِم. وعنه ابن مَهْدِيّ، وعفان، وأبو دَاوُد الطيالسي، وأبو عاصم، وأحْمَد بن يُونُس، وعدة. قَالَ أبو زكريا الأزدي، في "طبقات أهل الموصل": عزيز الحَدِيث. قلت: قَالَ أبو هِشَام الرفاعي: "حَدَّثَنَا ابن مَهْدِيّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَابِرٍ بن يَزِيد بن رفاعة قَالَ أبو هشام: هَذا شيخ لنا ثِقَة" (¬١). وذَكَرهُ ابنُ حِبَّانَ فِي الثِّقَات" (¬٢) (¬٣)
