[٨٩١] (د س) ثَعْلبَة بن زهدَمٍ الحنظليُّ، التَّيميّ. مختلف في صُحْبَته، حَدِيثه في الكُوفِيّين. روى عن: النَّبيّ ﷺ (س)، - على اختلاف في ذلك-، وعن حذيفة، وأبي مَسْعُود. روى عنه: الأسْوَد بن هلال. قلت: جزم بصحة صُحْبَته ابن حبَّان (¬٣)، وابن السكن، وأبو مُحمَّد بن حزم (¬٤)، وجَمَاعَة ممن صنف في "الصَّحَابة"، يطول تعدادهم (¬٥). وذكره البُخَاريّ في "التَّارِيخ الكبير"، وقَالَ: قَالَ الثَّوْرِيِّ: "له صُحْبَة، ولا يصحُّ" (¬٦). وقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيّ في "تاريخه": "أدرك النَّبيّ ﷺ، وعامة روايته عن الصَّحَابة". وقَالَ العِجْلِيّ: تابعي "ثِقَة" (¬٧). وذكره مسْلم في "الطَّبقَة الأولى من التَّابِعِين".
