    [٨٩٠] (ق) ثَعْلبَة بن الحكم اللَّيْثيّ، له صُحْبَة، عداده في الكُوفِيّين، شهد حُنينًا.روى عن: النَّبيّ ﷺ في "النهي عن النُّهبة (¬١) (¬٢) (ق)، وعن ابن عَبَّاس (¬٣). روى عنه: سماك بن حرب، ويَزِيد بن أبي زياد. قلت: واسم جَدّه: عَرفَطة بن الحَارِث بن لقيط بن يعْمر بن عوف بن كعب بن عَامِر بن اللَّيْث، كذا نسبه ابن سَعْد وغيره (¬٤). والظَّاهر أنَّ قول "المؤلف": شهد "حنينًا" تصحيفٌ (¬٥)، فقد ثَبت عنه أنه: قَالَ: "أصبنا غنما يوم خيبر" (¬٦)، فذكر الحَدِيث الَّذِي أخَرج له ابنُ مَاجَه (¬٧)، رُوِّيناه في "مسند الطَّيالسي" (¬٨)، عن شُعْبة، عن سماك، سَمِعْت ثَعْلبَة به (¬٩).وذكره البُخَاريّ في "التَّارِيخ الأوسط"، في "فصل (¬١) من مَات ما بين السَّبْعِين إلى الثَمَانِينَ" (¬٢).
