[٨٦٧] (ق) ثابت بن السِّمْط (¬٥)، الشَّامِيّ. روى عن: عبادة بن الصَّامِت، في "الأشربة" (¬٦). وعنه: عبد الله بن محيريز. روي له ابن ماجه حديثًا وَاحِدًا، في "تسمية الخمر بغير اسمها" (¬٧).قلت: ذَكَرهُ ابنُ حِبَّانَ في "الثِّقَات"، وأفاد بأنه أخو شرحبيل، وقَالَ: "يروي عن جَمَاعَة من الصَّحَابة، روى عنه أهل الشام (¬١).
