[٥٣٨] (د) إسماعيل بن يحيى المعافريّ، المصريّ. عن سهل بن معاذ بن أنس، عن أبيه؛ بحديث: "مَنْ حَمَى مؤمنًا مِن منافقٍ" الحديث (¬٢). وعنه: عبد الله بنُ سليمان الطّويل. من روايةِ يحيى بنِ أيّوب، عن الطّويل، أَخرجَه أبو داود (¬٣). وقال أبو زُرعة وأبو حاتم: إنّه يَروي عنه يحيى بنُ أيّوب (¬٤). وقال ابنُ يونس: ليسَ هذا الحديث -فيما أعلمُ- بمصر (¬٥).قلتُ: ذَكَرَه ابنُ حبّان في "الثّقاتِ" (¬١). وقَرَأْتُ بخَطِّ الذَّهبيِّ في "الميزانِ" (¬٢): فيه جَهَالَةٌ.
