[٤٨٩] (ت) إسماعيل بن سعيد بن عبد الله (¬٢) بن جبير بن حيّة، الثّقفيّ، الجُبَيريّ، البصريّ. روى عن: أبيه. وعنه: بشرُ بنُ آدم، وبُندار، وأبو موسى، والكُديميّ، وغيرُهم. قال أبو حاتم: شيخُ، أدركتُه، ولمْ أَكتُبْ عنه (¬٣). رَوَى له التِّرمذيُّ حديثًا واحدًا في الجنائزِ عن المغيرة بن شعبة (¬٤)، وصَحَّحَه (¬٥). قلتُ: وذَكَرَه ابنُ حبّان في "الثّقاتِ" (¬٦). وقال ابنُ معين: لا أعرفُه (¬٧).
