[٤٧١] (ق) إسماعيل بن حِبَّان (¬٥) بن واقد، الثّقفيّ، أبو إسحاق، القطّان، الواسطيّ. روى عن: عبد الله بن عاصم الحِمّاني، وزكريّا بن عديّ، وغيرِهم. وعنه: ابنُ ماجه، والبُجيريّ، وابنُ أبي داود، وعليُّ بنُ عبد الله بنِ مبشر، وعِدّةٌ. ضَبَطَ ابنُ ماكُولا أباه بالكَسْرِ والموحدةِ (¬٦). وذَكَرَه ابنُ عساكر بعد "إسماعيل بنِ حفص" (¬٧)، فهو عندَه بالمثنّاةِ التّحتانيّةِ (¬٨). وهو وهمٌ - فيما أَظُنُّ -.قلتُ: تَبِعَه عبد الغنيّ في "الكمالِ" (¬١).
