[٢٩٤] (¬٥) (تمييز) إبراهيم بن يزيد، شيخٌ شاميٌّ. روى عن: عُمر بن عبد العزيز، وكانَ مع عروة بنِ محمّد السّعدي باليمن. وروى عنه: الأوزاعيُّ، ورجاءُ بنُ أبي سلمة. ذَكَرَه البخاريُّ (¬٦).وهو ممّن يلتبسُ بالخُوزيّ؛ لكونِه وُصِفَ بكونِه مولى عُمر، وليسَ كذلك، بل هذا آخر، كانَ مِن حَرَسِ عُمر بنِ عبد العزيز، فأرسلَه إلى اليمن، إلى عروة بن محمّد السّعدي - عاملِ عُمر بنِ عبد العزيز عليها -، فروى عن عروة أيضًا (¬١). ذَكَرَه محمودُ بنُ سميع في الطّبقةِ الخامسةِ مِن أهلِ الشّامِ (¬٢). وقال ابنُ أبي حاتم عن أبي زُرعة: شيخٌ (¬٣). وذَكَرَه ابنُ حبّان في "الثّقاتِ" (¬٤).
