[١١٦] (س) أحمد بن المعلَّى بن يزيد، الأسديّ، أبو بكر، الدّمشقيّ، نائبُ أبي زرعة (¬٣) في قَضَائِها. روى عن سليمان بن عبد الرحمن، وصفوان بن صالح، وخَتَنِه دُحيم، وأبي داود (¬٤) السجستانيّ، وغيرِهم. روى عنه: النّسائيُّ، وابنُ جَوْصا، والطبرانيُّ، وخيئمةُ، وأبو الميمون البجليّ، وأبو عليّ الحصائريّ، وغيرُهم. قال محمّدُ بنُ يوسف الهرويّ: ماتَ في شهرِ رمضان، سنةَ ستٍّ وثمانين ومئتينِ (¬٥). قلتُ: قال النّسائيُّ: لا بأسَ به.
