[٥٢] (¬٤) (تمييز) أحمد بن صالح، الشُّمُوميّ (¬٥)، المصريّ، نزيل مكة.روى عن أبي صالح - كاتب الليث -، وعبد الله بن نافع، ويحيى بن هاشم، وغيرهم. روى عنه: محمدُ بنُ إبراهيم بن مقاتل وإسحاق بن أحمد الخزاعيّ، وغيرُهم (¬١). ذَكَرَه ابن حبّان في "الضُّعفاءِ" (¬٢)، فقال: يأتي عن الأثباتِ بالمعضلاتِ، تجبُ (¬٣) مجانبةُ ما روى؛ لتنكُّبِه الطريقَ المستقيمَ في الروايةِ، ولم يكنْ أصحاب الحديثِ يكتبون عنه، وإنّما يوجد حديثُه عند مَنْ كان يكتبُ عنه بمكة مِن الرحّالة. وأخرجَ أبو نعيم في "الحليةِ" (¬٤) مِن طريقِه حديثًا، وقال: غريبٌ، لم نكتبْه إلا مِن حديثِ الشمومي. والحَمْلُ فيه عليه (¬٥). / (¬٦).
