[٦] (¬١) (تمييز) أحمد بن الأزهر، البَلْخيّ (¬٢). روى عن: يعقوب بن إبراهيم بن سعد ومعروف بن حسّان. روى عنه: أبو بكر محمد بن إسحاق بن خزيمة (¬٣)، وإبراهيم بن نصر العنبري، وأحمد بن محمّد بن المغلس.ذَكَرَه ابن حبّان في "الثّقاتِ" (¬١) مُفرَدًا عن الذي قبله، وقال: كان يَنْتَحِلُ مذهب أهل الرأي، يُخطئُ، ويُخالِفُ. وأخرجَ له الحاكمُ في "المستدرَكِ" (¬٢).
