[٢٢٠٥] حدثنا أحمد بن الحسين المصري الأيلي. مترجم في "اللسان"، ووقع في نسخة منه: "الأملي"، وهو خطأ، وترجمه الذهبي في "المشتبه"، مادة "المضري"؛ فقال: المضري … ، وبضم، وضاد معجمة مفتوحة: أحمد بن الحسن المضري، شيخ للطبراني، واهٍ. قلت: وهو: الأبلي، بموحدة تحتانية بعدها لام، وعلى الصواب في "المعجم الصغير" (١٣٩).*
