    يعقوب بن الزبير أبو عَمرو. حدَّث عن: جعفر بن محمد، وزياد النميري، وأبي عُمارة، وأبان. روى عنه: ابنه. قال أبو نُعيم: حدَّث أبو علي أحمد بن محمد بن إبراهيم الوراق ثنا محمد بن يحيى بن مندة ثنا عَمرو بن يعقوب ثنا أبي عن جعفر بن محمد عن أبيه وعن أبان عن أنس قال قال رسول الله ﷺ: من قرأ: ﴿قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ﴾ [الإخلاص: ١] مائة مرة لم يمت حتى تبشره الملائكة بالجنة، في قصة طويلة منكرة، حدَّثناه عنه من لا أحب ذكره.
