    ٤١٥٨ - الهيثم بن عقاب: [كوفيٌّ] [حديث: "من أمَّ قومًا وفيهم أقرأ لكتاب الله منه وأعلم لم يزل في سفال إلى يوم القيامة"] * قال العقيلي في "الضعفاء" (٤/ ٣٥٥): "الهيثم بن عقاب مجهول بالنقل، وحديثُهُ غير محفوظ، ولا يُعرف إلا به". * أمَّا الهيثمي فقال في "المجمع" (٢/ ٦٤): "فيه الهيثم بن عقاب، قال الأزدي لا يعرف، قلت: ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" اهـ. * وكذلك قال الحافظ في "اللسان" (٦/ ٢١١) أن ابنَ حبان ذكره في "الثقات" ولكني لم أجده في "المطبوع" منه فالله أعلمُ. التسلية / رقم ٥٨؛ ونحوه " في: تنبيه ١/ رقم ٩٢
