    محمد بن يعقوب الأهوازي الخطيب. قُلتُ: روى عنه: (الطَّبراني)، و (الرّامهرمزي) في "المحدِّث الفاصل"، و (أبو الشَّيخ) في "العظمة"، و (ابن المُقرئ) في "معجمه"، و (ابن حبَّان) في "صحيحه". انظر: "زوائد رجال صحيح ابن حبَّان". قال عبد الله الخليفي المنتفجي: وجدت له ترجمة في كتاب غاية النغاية في طبقات القراء للجزري. قال الجزري: "محمد بن يعقوب الأهوازي شيخ، قرأ على زيد بن علي فيما زعم ولا يصح ذلك، قرأ عليه أبو القاسم الهذلي ببغداد" "ملتقى أهل الحديث". *
