    محمد بن عثمان بن البهلول. قال الذَّهبي في الميزان (ترجمة - عبَّاد بن سعيد الجعفي): عبَّاد بن سعيد الجعفي قال: حدَّثنا محمد بن عثمان بن بهلول حدَّثنا صالح بن أبي الأسود عن أبي المطهر عن الأعشى الثقفي عن سلام الجعفي عن أبي برزة ﵁ مرفوعًا: إن الله عهد إِلي في علي؛ أنه راية الهدى، وإمام أوليائي، وهو الكلمة الَّتي ألزمها المتقين، من أحبه أحبني. فهذا باطل والسند إليه ظلمات. قُلتُ: فهل قصد -الذَّهبي- أَن السند إلى أبي برزة ظلمات.محمد بن عثمان بن (أبي) البهلول (٧٢٠) غ - (٤٨٧٩ - ٤٨٨٠). صوابه: محمد بن عثمان بن البهلول. انظر: جزء التّعليقات. *
