محمد بن عَبد الله عن المطلب بن عَبد الله. قال البخاري في "التاريخ الصغير" (١/ ١٧): قال محمد بن سَلمة عن أبي عَبد الرّحيم عن زيد بن أبي أنيسة عن محمد بن عَبد الله عن المطلب عن أبي هريرة: دخلت على رقية بنت رسول الله ﷺ امرأة عثمان، وفي يدها مشط.ولا أدري حفظ أم لا .. لأن رقية بنت النبي ﷺ ماتت أيام بدر، وأبو هريرة هاجر بعد ذلك بنحو من خمس سنين أيام خيبر. ولا يعرف للمطلب سماع من أبي هريرة ولا لمحمد عن المطلب، ولا تقوم به الحجة *
