محمد بن داود بن مالك أبو بكر الشعيري. حدَّث عن: عَبد الملك بن عَبد ربه الطائي، وهارون بن سفيان المستملي. روى عنه: الطَّبراني، وأبو بكر الإسماعيلي الجرجاني. قال الخطيب: كان فهما عالما بالحديث. قال أبو العبَّاس بن سعيد: توفي أبو بكر محمد بن داود بن مالك الشعيري البغدادي بطريق مكة في ذي القعدة سنة سبع وتسعين ومائتين، ورأيته لا يخضب. "تاريخ بغداد" (٢/ ٢٦٤). قُلتُ: قال الخطيب: وقد قيل: أنه محمد بن مالك بن داود فأنا أعيد ذكره بعد إن شاء الله.قُلتُ: سيأتي. *
