٤٧٩ - محمد بن أبي حفص الأنصاري قال (٢): لم أجد من ترجمه. قلت: هو محمد بن عمر بن أبي حفص العطَّار الأنصاري، نسب في "الأوسط" (٣) لجدّه، فلم يعرفه الهيثمي، وجاء منسوباً عند البخاري في "الكبير" (٤)، وابن أبي حاتم في "الجرح والتعديل" (٥) وابن حبان في "ثقاته" (٦). وذكر له ابن أبي حاتم، وابن حبان رواية عفيف بن سالم عنه؛ وهو راوي حديثه هذا. وقال ابن حبان: كان مِمَّن يخطئ؛ ولذلك أورده ابن حجر في "لسان الميزان" (٧)، وحكى فيه قول ابن حِبَّان فحسب.
