    المثنى بن مطاع بن عيسى بن مطاع. قال الحافظُ في "اللسان" (ترجمة - مطاع بن زيادة): مطاع بن زيادة، أو زائدة بن مسعود اللخمي روى عن أبيه عن جده مسعود أن النبي ﷺ قال: امض إلى أصحابك فمن دخل تحت رايتي هذه آمن من العذاب. رواه عنه ولده عيسى، أخرجه الطَّبراني عن عَبد الرّحمن بن المثنى بن مطاع ابن عيسى مسلسلًا بالآباء وقال: لا يروي عن مسعود إلا بهذا الإسناد، وتفرد به ولده، وأشار العلائي في "الوشي" إلى: أن أولاده لا يعرفون. *
