    مالك بن إبراهيم بن الأشتر. ترجمه البخاري في "التاريخ" (٧/ ٣١٣) فقال: مالك بن إبراهيم بن الأشتر النخعي قال لنا عَمرو بن خالد: نا مجُاهد بن سعيد بن أبي زينب الأصبحي لقيته بالجزيرة من أهلها. قال: حدَّثني عَبد الله بن مالك بن إبراهيم بن الأشتر النخعي عن أبيه عن جده قال: قام عُمر عند باب الجابية؛ وذكر النبي ﷺ ثم قال: إن يد الله على الجماعة، والفذ مع الشيطان، والحق أصل في الجنة، والباطل أصل في النار، وأن أصحابي خياركم فأكرموهم، ثم الذين يلونهم، ثم الذين يلونهم، ثم يظهر الكذب والهرج. وذكره ابن حبَّان في "الثقات" (٧/ ٤٦١). *
