كنيز الخادم العدل الفقيه أبو علي مولى المنتصر بالله ابن المتوكل. يروي عن: حرملة بن يحيى، والرّبيع المرادي، والحسن بن محمد الزعفراني. وعنه: أبو علي الحصائري، والطَّبراني. وكان يقرئ الفقه بجامع دمشق على مذهب الشافعي، وكان من أئمة المذهب. قال الحصائري: كان فقيهًا عليمًا بقول الشافعي.
