الفضل بن محمد بن حماد الحراني أبو معشر بن أبي معشر. أخو أبي عروبة، شيخ مسن كأخيه. سمع: عَبد السلام بن عَبد الحميد الإمام، وجده عَمرو بن أبي عَمرو سعيدابن زادان والزبير بن بكار. وعنه: ابن المُقرئ، وأبو أحمد الحاكم. "تاريخ الإسلام" وفيات (٣٣١ - ص: ٣٥٦). قُلتُ: وروى عنه: (الطَّبراني). *
