    عيسى بن الضحاك سنان. قال ابن أبي حاتم: عيسى بن الضحاك، سنان، أخو جراح بن الضحاك، أصله كوفي، سكن الرّي. روى عن: الأعمش. روى عنه: النُّعمان بن عَبد السلام الأصبهاني، وعَبد الرّحمن الدشتكي، وعلي بن أبي بكر الأسفذنى، وأبو نُعيم. سمعت أبي يقول بعض ذلك، وبعضه من قبلي. سألت أبي عنه، فقال: لا بأس به. "الجرح والتعديل" (٦/ ٢٧٩). وترجمه ابن حبَّان في "الثقات" (٧/ ٢٣٧): عيسى بن الضحاك، أخو الجراح بن الضحاك، كوفي. يروي عن: الأعمش. روى عنه: علي بن أبي بكر الأسفذني، وهي قرية بالرّي. *
