    عَبد الرّحمن بن الحكم بن البراء بن قبيطة الثقفي. قال الحافظُ في "الإصابة" (ترجمة - أبي الهيثم بن عتبة): أبو الهيثم بن عتبة ابن أبي لهب بن عَبد المطلب بن هاشم الهاشمي، وقع ذكره في حديث يدل على أن له صحبة. فقرأت في كتاب "السنة" لأبي الحسن بن السري خالد ولد ابن السنيحدَّثنا محمد بن صالح حدَّثني مروان بن ضرار الفزاري حدَّثني عَبد الرّحمن بن الحكم بن البراء بن قبيصة الثقفي حدَّثنا أبي عن عامر بن الأسود عن عَبد الله بن الغسيل قال: كنت مع النبي ﷺ فمر العبَّاس فقال: يا عم اتبعني ببنيك؟ فقال له أبو الهيثم بن عتبة بن أبي لهب: يا عم أنظرني حتى أجيئك فلم يأتهم فانطلق بستة من بنيه فذكر القصة. *
