عاصم بن أبي بكر بن عُمر بن حميد بن عَبد الرّحمن بن عوف. ترجمه ابن حبَّان في "الثقات" (٨/ ٥٠٥): عاصم بن أبي بكر الزهوى كنيته أبو ضمرة من أهل المدينة. يروي عن: مالك، وعَبد الرّحمن بن زيد بن أسلم الحكايات في الرّقائق. روى عنه: الحسن بن عَبد العزيز الجروى. قُلتُ: وروى عنه: (عَبد الله بن سفيان الثقفي) كما في "الأوسط" (١٣٢٧). انظر: "تاريخ دمشق" (٢٥/ ٢١٩) *
