    سوادة بن حيان. قال ابن أبي حاتم: سوادة بن حيان السعدي. روى عن: أبي خلدة الحنفي، ومعاوية بن قرة. روى عنه: زيد بن حباب، ومسلم بن إبراهيم، وأبو الوليد، سمعت أبي يقول ذلك. حدَّثنا عَبد الرّحمن أنا يعقوب بن إسحاق الهروي فيما كتب إلي نا عثمان بن سعيد قال: سألت يحيى بن معين عن سوادة بن حيان كيف حديثه، فقال: ثقة. "الجرح والتعديل" (٤/ ٢٩٤). قُلتُ: وذكره ابن حبَّان في "الثقات" (٦/ ٤٢٩). *
