سليمان بن النُّعمان الشيباني. قال ابن أبي حاتم: سليمان بن النُّعمان الشيباني، أبو أيوب، بصرى. روح عن: همام بن يحيى والحسن بن أبي جعفر، ويحيى بن العلاء الرّازي، سمعت أبي يقول ذلك. قال أبو محمد: روح عنه: أبي، وأبو زرعة. حدَّثنا عَبد الرّحمن قال: سئل أبي عنه فقال: شيخ. "الجرح والتعديل" (٤/ ١٤٧). قُلتُ: وذكره ابن حبَّان في "الثقات" (٨/ ٢٧٦). *
