    سَلمة بن بشير. ذكر ابن أبي حاتم: سَلمة بن بشير النيسابوري، نزيل الرّي، أبو الفضل. روى عن: عَبد العزيز بن أبي حازم، وهشيم.روى عنه: أبي سمعت أبي يقول ذلك. حدَّثنا عَبد الرّحمن قال: سمعت أبي يقول: سمعت سَلمة بن بشير يقول: حدَّثت بالرّي أربعين ألف حديث؛ فهل يتهيأ لأحد أن يعتب على شيئًا، وسمع منه أبي سنة إحدى عشرة ومائتين، روى عنه أبي، وأبو زرعة. حدَّثنا عَبد الرّحمن، قال: سئل أبي عنه، فقال: شيخ. "الجرح والتعديل" (٤/ ١٥٧). قُلتُ: فلعله هو. *
