داود بن بلال السعدي البغدادي. قال ابن أبي حاتم: داود بن بلال السعدي أبو سليمان. روى عن: أبي الأشهب، وحماد بن سَلمة، وشهاب بن شرنفة، وعَبد العزيز ابن مسلم. روى عنه: … ، سمعت أبي يقول ذلك. "الجرح والتعديل" (٣/ ٤٠٨). وترجمه ابن حبَّان في "الثقات" (٨/ ٢٣٦): يروي عن: عَبد العزيز بن مسلم القسملي، وحماد بن سَلمة، حدَّثنا عنه: الحسن بن سفيان، مستقيم الحديث. قُلتُ: وروى عنه: اثنان من مشائخ الطبراني. *
