    الخزاعي بن زياد. قال ابن أبي حاتم: خزاعي بن زياد المزني، بصري. روى عن: عَبد الله بن مغفل. روى عنه: عوف الأعرابي، ولَيْث بن جهم المؤذن، سمعت أبي يقول ذلك. حدَّثنا عَبد الرّحمن قال: ذكره أبي عن إسحاق بن منصور عن يحيى بن معين أنه سئل عن خزاعي بن زياد. روى عنه: عوف، قال: مشهور. "الجرح والتعديل" (٣/ ٤٠٣). وترجمه ابن حبَّان في "الثقات" (٤/ ٢١٥): خزاعى بن زياد بن عَبد الله بن المغفل، بصرى.يروي عن: عَبد الله بن مغفل. روى عنه: الهيثم بن جهم المؤذن. *
