    الحسين بن محمد بن عَبد الرّحمن أبو علي الخياط الرّامهرمزي. صاحب بشر بن الحارث. قال الخطيب: كان يمشي حافيًا ائتمامًا بأستاذه بشر، كتب الناس عنه شيئًا من حكاياته، وبعض أطراف من الحديث؛ فيما قيل لنا عنه. قال ابن المنادي: وتوفي أبو علي الحسين بن محمد الخياط صاحب بشر بنالحارث سنة اثنتين وثمانين يعني ومائتين. وذكر محمد بن مخلد: أنه توفي لسبع خلون من شوال.
