أصبغ بن محمد ابن أخي عُبيد الله بن عَمرو الرّقي. قال ابن أبي حاتم: أصبغ بن محمد بن عَمرو بن أخي عُبيد الله بن عَمرو الأسدي الرّقى. روى عن: جعفر بن برقان. روى عنه: عَمرو بن عثمان الكلابي الرّقى، سمعت أبي يقول ذلك. وسألته عنه فقال: ليس به بأس. "الجرح والتعديل" (٢/ ٣٢١).وترجمه ابن حبَّان في "الثقات" (٨/ ١٣٣): أصبغ بن محمد الوراق الجهني ابن أخي عُبيد الله بن عَمرو. يروي عن: جعفر بن يرقان. روى عنه: عَمرو بن عثمان الرّقى، مات سنة إحدى أو اثنتين وثمانين ومائة. *
