    أشرس بن ربيعة الهذلي. قال ابن أبي حاتم: أشرس بن ربيعة أبو شيبان الهذلي. روى عن: الحسن، وثابت، ومالك بن دينار. روى عنه: يزيد بن هارون، وموسى بن إسماعيل، سمعت أبي يقول ذلك. قال أبو محمد: روى عن: عطاء الخراساني. روى عنه: مسلم بن إبراهيم، ونسبه. "الجرح والتعديل" (٢/ ٣٢٢). وترجمه ابن حبَّان في "الثقات" (٦/ ٨١): أشرس أبو شيبان، من أهل البصرة. يروي عن: الحسن، وثابت، روى عنه: يزيد بن هارون، والتبوذكي، وعُبيد الله بن موسى. *
