    إسماعيل بن محمد بن عُبيد الله أبو علي ابن قيراط العذري. حدَّث عن: سليمان بن بنت شرحبيل، وحرملة بن يحيى، وصفوان بن صالح، وإبراهيم بن المنذر، وهشام بن عمار، وطبقتهم. حدَّث عنه: ابن جوصاء، وأبو عوانة، وخيثمة بن سليمان، وعلي بن أبي العقب، وابن هارون، وأبو عُمر بن فضالة، والطَّبراني، وخاتمتهم: أبو أحمد بنالناصح. قال الذَّهبي: الشَّيخ العالم المحدِّث أبو علي .. كان صاحب رحلة، ومعرفة. قال الذَّهبي: مات سنة سبع وتسعين ومئتين.
