أحمد بن محمد بن عَبد الله بن صدقة أبو بكر البغدادي. حدَّث عن: أحمد بن حنبل بمسائل، وعن: إسماعيل بن مسعود الجحدري، ومحمد بن مسكين اليمامي، ومحمد بن حرب، وصالح بن محمد بن يحيى القطان، وعدة. حدَّث عنه: عَبد الباقي بن قانع، وأبو بكر الشافعي، وسليمان الطَّبراني، والفقيه أبو بكر الخلال، وأبو بكر بن مُجاهد. قال ابن المنادي: كان ابن صدقة من الضبط والحذق على نهاية. قال الذَّهبي: الإمام الحافظُ المتقن الفقيه أبو بكر .. كان نقالًا لكتب من القراءات، ومسائله عن الإمام أحمد مدونة، وكان موصوفًا بالإتقان، والتثبت.وقال: توفي سنة ثلاث وتسعين ومئتين.
