    أحمد بن عَمرو بن حفص بن عُمر بن النُّعمان أبو بكر القريعي البصري القطراني. روى عن: عَمرو بن مرزوق، وأبا الوليد الطيالسي، وسليمان بن حرب، وهُدبة بن خالد، وطبقتهم. حدَّث عنه: أبو القاسم الطَّبراني، وقاضي مصر الذهلي، وآخرون. ذكره ابن حبَّان في "ديوان الثقات". وقال الذَّهبي: الشَّيخ المحدِّث المعُمر الثقة أبو بكر. وقال: توفي في شوال سنة خمس وتسعين ومئتين. "السير" (١٣/ ٥٢٦). *
