    أحمد بن عَبد الله بن زياد الجبلي. قال السّمعاني (الجبلي): المعروف بهذه النسبة إلى جبلة، وهي بلدة من بلاد الشام؛ قريبة من حمص، مما يلي تلك السواحل؛ فيما أظن، وسمع: أبو القاسم الطَّبراني عن جماعة بها، ويقول: أنا فلان بمدينة جبلة. "الأنساب" مادة (الجبلي). قُلتُ: روى عنه: (الطَّبراني) بجبلة سنية ٢٧٩، و (ابن عدي) في "الكامل" (٧/ ٢٦٦١)، وفيه: أحمد بن عَبد الله بن زياد الأعرج، ولم أره عند ابن عساكر وهو على شرطه. *
