إبراهيم بن علي بن إبراهيم أبو إسحاق العُمري الموصلي. سمع: معلى بن مهدي، ومحمد بن عَبد الله بن عمار، وهذه الطبقة، وأكثر عن أصحاب ابن عيينة.حدَّث عنه: أبو طاهر بن أبي هاشم المقرئ، وأبو بكر الإسماعيلي، وأبو بكر النجاد، وأبو بكر بن المقرئ، وآخرون. وثقه الدَّارقطني، والخطيب. وقال الذَّهبي: المحدِّث الحجة … ، قدم بغداد، وحدَّث بها، توفي سنة ست وثلاث مئة. "سير أعلام النبلاء" (١٤/ ٢٢٩). *
