إبراهيم بن أبي أيوب عيسى بن عَبد الله أبو إسحاق المصري الطحاوي. روى عن: ابن وهب، والشافعي. وحدَّث عنه: بحر بن نصر، والرّبيع بن سليمان. قال المُقريزي: مولى سلامة بن عَبد الملك الطحاوي، كان فقيها، وهو كاتب الحارث بن مسكين حين كان على القضاء، وكتب أيضًا لعيس بن المنكدر، وهارون بن عَبد الله قضاء مصر، وهو من جملة أصحاب أبي عَبد الله الشافعي، وكان من أهل الأدب. وقال: توفي سنة ٢٦٠. وقال الذَّهبي: كان ابنه من أهل الأدب."المقفى الكبير" (١/ ٢٤٨)، "تاريخ الإسلام" للذَّهبي (ص: ٧٣). *
