    ٥ - عدم وجود الفهارس العلمية الصّحيحة لبعض الكتب. تُوجد بالمَكتبةِ كُتب يَصعُبُ الوقُوف فيها على الترجمة المرادة لخُلُوِها من وجود الترتِيب المعروف، وتُعدم لها الفهارس النّافعة الدّقيقة المعهُودة، كما في بعض كُتب الوفيات، والسؤالات. وأكبرُ صدمة للباحث وجود السقط، والتَّصحيف، بل وُجد التّحريف، في فهارس بعض الكتب، وأوضح مثال لذلك فهارس "تاريخ بغداد"!! -للشيخ زغلول- … فإيّاك وإيّاها.ولي مستدرك على بعض كُتب السؤالات جَمعتُ فيه قدر (١٥٠) ترجمة ما بين ساقطٍ من فهرس وتصحيف!!.
