١٦٨٤ - المفضّل بن مسعود بن محمد بن يحيى بن أبى الفرج التّنوخىّ، الفقيه، النحوىّ، القاضى (¬١) مولده بعد السبعين (¬٢) وثلاثمائة. تفقّه على القدورىّ، وعلى الصّيمرىّ. وقرأ الأدب على علىّ بن عيسى بن الفرج الرّبعىّ (¬٣)، وغيره. وسمع ببغداد، وبدمشق، وغيرهما. وحدّث، روى عنه أبو القاسم على بن إبراهيم بن الحسن (¬٤) الدّمشقىّ، وغيره. له من المصنّفات: كتاب «أخبار النّحويّين»، وكتاب «التّنبيه» ردّ فيه على الشافعىّ، ذكر فيه ما خالف النّصوص من القرآن والحديث، وله «رسالة فى وجوب غسل الرجلين»، وله «البيان عن الفصل فى الأشربة بين الحلال والحرام». مات سنة اثنتين، أو ثلاث وأربعين وأربعمائة. ***
