١٦٢١ - محمود بن عبيد الله بن صاعد بن أحمد بن محمد الطّايكانىّ، الحارثىّ، شيخ الإسلام (¬*) من أهل مرو. قال ابن النّجّار: سألته عن مولده، فقال: فى ذى الحجّة، سنة إحدى وأربعين وخمسمائة. سمع من والده، وعمّيه؛ أبى الفضل (¬١) عبيد الله، ومحمد بن صاعد. وولد بسرخس، ونشأ بها. وقرأ الفقه على مذهب أبى حنيفة، وبرع فيه، وصار إماما فى المذهب والخلاف. قدم علينا بغداد حاجّا، سنة خمس وستمائة، وكان معه أربعون حديثا عن شيوخه، فانتقيت منها «جزءا لطيفا» وقرأته عليه، وسمعه أصحابنا. وسكن مرو إلى حين وفاته. وتوفّى سنة ست وستمائة. ***
