    ١٠٩٦ - فرات بن نصر، أبو جعفر الفقيه، القهندزىّ، الهروىّ (¬*) تفقّه على أبى يوسف، وروى عنه، وعن محمد بن الحسن. ذكره فى «تاريخ هراة»، وقال: من أصحاب الرّأى، وكان عنده عامّة كتب محمد بن الحسن، سمعها منه. ومات فى سنة ست وثلاثين ومائتين. والقهندزىّ؛ بضمّ القاف والهاء وضمّ الدّال المهملة وفى آخرها الزّاى، وهى بلاد شتّى؛ قهندز بخارى، وقهندز سمرقند، وقهندز هراة. ***
