٩٩٨ - علىّ بن محمد بن أبى الفهم داود بن إبراهيم التّنوخىّ (¬*) قال السّمعانىّ: ولد بأنطاكية، فى ذى الحجة، سنة ثمان وسبعين ومائتين.وقدم بغداد سنة ست (¬١) وثلاثمائة، وتفقّه بها على مذهب أبى حنيفة على أبى الحسن الكرخىّ. وسمع الحديث من الحسن بن أحمد (¬٢) ابن فيل الأنطاكىّ، وغيره. وكان معتزليّا. وتوفّى بالبصرة، فى شهر ربيع الأوّل، سنة اثنتين وأربعين وثلاثمائة. وهو أخو القاضى أحمد بن محمد بن أبى الفهم، تقدّم فى بابه (¬٣). وصنّف كتبا فى الحديث والفقه. ويقال: إنه كان يقوم بعشرة علوم. ***
