٥٨٤ - داود بن الهيثم بن إسحاق بن البهلول ابن حسّان بن سنان، أبو سعد التّنوخىّ (¬*) ابن أخى البهلول بن إسحاق (¬١). روى عن جدّه إسحاق، وعمر بن شبّة النّميرىّ (¬٢). وحدّث ببغداد، والأنبار، فروى عنه محمد بن المظفّر الحافظ، وأحمد ابن يوسف (¬٣) الأزرق بن يعقوب بن إسحاق بن بهلول. قال الخطيب: قال علىّ بن المحسّن: كان فصيحا، نحويّا، لغويّا، حسن العلم بالعروض (¬٤). وصنّف كتبا فى اللغة والنحو، على مذهب الكوفيّين، وله «كتاب كبير فى خلق الإنسان»، متداول. وكان أخذ عن يعقوب بن السّكّيت، ولقى ثعلبا (¬٥)، وحمل عنه.ولد بالأنبار، وبها مات سنة ست عشرة وثلاثمائة، وله ثمان وثمانون سنة. ***
